I've never seen such a beautiful beam engine model with a fully working flyball governor, so I absolutely needed to buy this kit. Assembling was easy and great fun. And the little engine runs perfectly even for the first time! This is really a great high quality model that brings so much joy - I would buy it again without hesitation.

I have no real opinion of the shipping insurance. Products I ordered arrived undamaged. It is a Christmas gift so I haven't assembled it yet.
Title pretty much says it all. The tracking information I was provided says it has not moved for a week.
As this is a gift for someone I could not build it. However I am favorably impressed by the kit on every level. I was expecting a plain cardboard box and was pleasantly surprised to find a nicely printed box with a full color graphic of the finished model. The box contained a full instruction manual, also nicely printed. The bricks were perfectly molded in the required colors, and every bit as good as any Legos I have ever worked with. If this would have been a Lego kit it would have cost at least $195, and quite possibly as much as $295. The price of this kit impressed me sufficiently that I immediately ordered 3 more! YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THIS KIT! I GUARANTEE YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!
arrived 2 days ago 12/13/24. Package undamaged. Nice Christmas Box. Will assemble it after Christmas as it is a gift to grandson & I. Send me a review request after the 25th & I will let you all know my experience. L.P.
